Playground 25
Lake City DIRT and the Town of Lake City are embarking on an ambitious project to refresh the Town Park through installation of a new year-round restroom facility and an upgraded playground. The existing merry-go-round and gaga pit will remain; the remainder of the broken playground pieces will be removed. A local work group with representatives from Lake City DIRT, the Town of Lake City’s Parks & Recreation program, Lake City Community School, WeeCare in Lake City, and parents has worked with Burke Playground to develop a proposal that includes 2 climbing rocks (constructed by ID Sculptures out of Gunnison), a swing set that includes accessible swings so all children can participate, and a 2-12 years of age combined play structure. This will be the first accessible playground in Hinsdale County.

Please join the Trujillo Family, DIRT, and the Town of Lake City in providing a space where ALL children can play.
